I have discovered something inexplicable and really irritating: Many of Melodie9's conversion meshes have an extra group called 'face' that's, well, a face. It does nothing and doesn't show up, but it adds 736 polygons nonetheless. I deleted it in a few meshes and tested and they showed up just fine, so I repeat: WTF?

I'm not even going to get into the unholy mess that is most Store hairstyles.

Expect mesh fixes to be forthcoming. >:[ This stuff really chaps my ass.

Oh, I remember those! On one of the occasions I tried (and failed) to recolour a hair, that face confused the crap out of me.

756 polygons... yow.

That's a lot of unnecessary polys for something that I assume is copy/paste (copy/paste is a lot of work though :P).

I stand corrected then, I really shouldn't be talking about things I know nothing about. This still puzzles me though.

I always import a face-group when I do gender-conversions of hairs and it has happened that I've forgotten to delete it before saving. Of course I've always noticed it and never let it stay in the finished package. Easy mistake to make, I guess, but I can see why it's frustrating.
(This is Trapping, btw..)

LOL, that reminds me of something similar I've never actually ranted about that I probably should: I have no idea what the deal is or how this happened, but all of the early Enayla pixie skins have hair textures in them for god knows what reason. They certainly didn't do anything.
