SO. HIATUS.

In a day and a half I will be, volcanoes willing, traipsing off across the sea to the wilds of the Northwestern United States, where I will battle hipsters, hippies, and indie musicians for delicious coffee. I'll be mostly out of commission until late June, possibly early July--I'll have regular internet access but I'll also be BUSY, so while I'll drop in from time to time I will basically not be around. I'll screen anonymous comments until I get back; I don't think there's going to be any trouble (read: spammers), but why tempt fate?

So enjoy your pretties, enjoy the start of the season (whichever it is for you), and don't break the Internet while I'm gone. <3

Thanks so much for the defaults! I love all the Penny skins and have now switched my defaults over. There is a problem with the default S3 skin; the bald texture is not correct- a quick fix so I did it already and it's at http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7c6c221104632c2cab1eab3e9fa335ca721853d5849f332e if you'd like to just grab it. I also have Penny Arcade 4 as S3 there as well if anyone would like it a an alternate.

Heh, I'd thought about making Arcade Four an alt for S3 too. X) And thank you for the fix, I'm literally 6000 miles away from my regular computer for the next month and can't do anything about it! Out of curiosity, what did I botch--the texture itself, or the material definition pointers?

You're welcome! It was just the wrong texture. The scalp skin was too light, so it showed really badly around the ears and forehead. I just pulled the correct one from the custom version and swapped it in. I hope you are having a great holiday!

Aha! I must've grabbed the wrong file when I banged these together in a hurry. Each set has the textures all in one folder, so it's not too hard to have happen when I'm rushing.

Well, I just noticed today that when I was copypasta-ing for that default for S3 Penny Arcade Four, I did the wrong texture for the child body *facepalm* so I've fixed that. Apologies to you and to all who might have downloaded it. The fixed file is here:

This set is lovely! I booted it up and it looks great in-game. However, when I try to make an S4 default adult male, the face goes completely black. Sorry to bother you, but have you ever encountered something like this?

Oh goodness, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. (I'd say my memory is like a sieve, but that's unfair to sieves.)

I recall that the black face problem can be due to conflicting/corrupted default replacements. Check to make sure you don't have an extra S4 default lurking around, and if that doesn't seem to be the problem, remove all of your default replacements for everything and load the game. One might be corrupt.
