Policy.

Some months ago I got the bright idea that since I now had it in my power to make my semirealistic game completely matchy, that I should go through all of my favourite facial hair, starting with eyebrows, and given them (more or less) consistent colours and, where appropriate, textures.

TWENTY FOUR SETS LATER, I never want to look at another eyebrow again.

I was not kidding even slightly about how bloody sick of eyebrows I am, and now you can see why.

All brows shown are in Fission on an S2ish skintone. There's some inconsistency in brightness because, let's face it, I'm not an artist so I'm only going to be so good at colour matching between a bunch of different textures that come in various tones and brightnesses to begin with. If it weren't for Pooklet's actions, I'd have had no hope at all!

These are the naturals + Time Bomb. I will not be doing neons. I will not be doing any further sets because I would like to save the last few tattered shreds of my sanity for doing the 30ish stubble, moustache, and beard files I have planned.

All files are clearly named and subfoldered by creator (with Ephermera getting two).

You have your choice of downloads: Regular, which means every single damn colour is in the grey bin, or Elder Time Bomb (heh), where, unsurprisingly, the only colour that is available for elders is Time Bomb.

(Or you can do what I do and mix and match a little; I personally think Grenade makes as good an elder colour as it does an ash blond. The sky's the limit, folks!)

Bonus!Download the Pooklet'd Zoej Eyebrow Texture. Already in Volatile and ready to be action'd further. Doesn't work with all alphas, but makes some look a lot more detailed and less crayon-y.

That's about how I feel about leaves, stockings, and suitcases-- although the leaves were fun as hell to do, it got kind of tedious about a third of the way through the Linden version. "Yes, yes, I'll just keep plonking the damn leaves all over the damn place still gotta do the damn toddlers..."

However? These look incredibly awesome and I'm glad you're saving some sanity for beards. I'd dearly love to have some of the meshed beards Pooklet'd. Or retextured in some semi-realistic manner in Volatile, at least. Medieval menfolk need not be so clean-shaven! Except they must cos EAxis beards appear to be made of yarn.

I've had intentions to -- ran the texture through all of the new natural actions -- but haven't been able to convince myself to do all of the clickybuttoning...

I understand. xD I hate stupid tedious Body Shop work. I still don't know how I managed to get through all those jeans textures.

Hopefully you'll be able to convince yourself eventually, though, because I use these recolors like mad and am starting to use more of the new colors! :)

You are a superhero for getting through all of those recolours/textures. I would've gone batty before I was half done!

I will definitely try to do the rest of the naturals -- I really like the new colours too and I'd like to have the variety in my game. Too bad it's so tedious. XD

Just the naturals is good with me -- I don't see the point in unnatural eyebrows, personally, and there's only two Sims in my game that use unnatural colored hair. One of them doesn't have eyebrows at all. xD
