Aah, I see I was unclear--I'm sorry! You don't want to copy the file in the SavedSims file. As far as the game is concerned, that makes an exact duplicate.
What you do is you go back into Bodyshop, go to the screen where it asks you if you want to make a new project or load a project, choose load, then load your project (i.e. tfbrunotop in my example). Import that, and it will make another, unique file. You need to do this for each unique file you need.
It's kind of a pain in the butt because after you click the checkmark on the 'importation complete' dialog, it takes you to a new project screen. You have to cancel out of that to choose load project again, load your project, import--and so on.
